Hello! My name is John White, I am a 27 year-old native English speaker from Liverpool, UK.
For the past 11 years, I have been coaching football from U5-U18s and teaching English to students from Elementary Grade 1 to High School, University Students and Business Professionals. During this time, I have developed skills which can help you improve your English language proficiency quickly.
I completed my Masters' degree in Sport Science in 2016, my 120-Hour TEFL Certificate in February 2021 and have been teaching Business English online since 2017.
I currently work in Andong, South Korea where I teach English through football to Elementary and Middle School students in Geyongsangbuk province. This is a unique project and one I am passionate about!

I also lead football-specific sessions at the EFA Academy where we coach football through speaking English. The focus is on the English-speaking while also improving their football skills

Working as a Teaching Assistant in numerous schools around the Merseyside and Greater Manchester area, I provided support to teachers in classrooms in primary schools from Reception to Year 6. I also delivered P.E lessons following the UK Curriculum.
Physical Performance Coach, MK Dons

I was employed as a Physical Performance Coach by MK Dons Football Club to working with the Girls Regional Talent Centre. I worked with ages U10-U16 and devised, implemented and monitored a Physical Performance Plan which saw 2 girls get called up to the England Squad at the end of the season.

I completed my 120-Hour TEFL Certificate, which allows me to teach for schools and agencies. I learned so much on this course, from grammar, lesson planning and classroom management. This allows me to teach English abroad and online.

I completed my undergradute and masters degree in Sport Science, specialising in sport psychology and focussing on coaching and teaching methods. My thesis studied how the structure of a lesson/coaching session can affect learning, so my lessons are now structured in such a way to provide the greatest opportunities for learning.
